Why I Made This Journal
When I first started Spiritfarer, I didn’t expect to cry.
I didn’t expect to feel so attached. Or to say goodbye so many times.
But as I played, as each spirit came and went, something lingered.
Their words. Their silences.
The way they held on. The way they let go.
And so I started writing. Not to analyze the game, not to review it — but to remember.
To remember Gwen’s coffee, Stanley’s drawings, Summer’s daisy, Alice’s confusion, Astrid’s strength.
To carry something of them forward. To say goodbye a little more gently.
This journal is what came from that.
It’s not polished like a guidebook.
It’s personal.
Emotional.
Messy, maybe. But honest.
Each page is a reflection on a spirit. Some are quiet. Some are complicated. Some are angry. Some are full of light.
Just like grief. Just like love.
If you’ve played Spiritfarer, maybe you’ll see parts of yourself in these pages.
If you haven’t, maybe this is a glimpse of why it matters.
Thank you for stopping by.
And if you download the journal — thank you for remembering them with me.
They’re not just pixels.
They’re stars.
